    I have my first ever clutch in the bator, and I will NOT be cutting.

    Cut every clutch so far. Probably saved one hatchling with the cord wrapped around it's neck last year.

    We control every aspect of these animals lives- bedding, temperature, humidity, feeding, watering, pairing/unpairing, pulling eggs and incubating eggs.

    I see cutting eggs as no different than any of the above. 52 days is my general cutting day when incubating at 89.5F. First clutch due to cut on 4/22/14 at 52 days, and that is the plan for all ~20- 25 clutches this season.
