Introducing the Green Labby Ball!!!

I personally have never seen a congo in person, just in pictures. I see some difference in the color and pattern, but im not familiar with the congo project.

Understood. I was just going off the pictures you posted and the 1 Congo that I've seen. You mentioned that it is kind of hard to capture the color, have you tried using a WhiBal card? They only cost $20 dollars and have really helped me capture the colors (they are cards with certified white, black, and neutral on them and you can get them on ebay). A friend who was a professional photographer told me about them and I was really impressed with how easy it can make correcting for light.

Havent tried that method yet, but the pics posted were taken from my iPhone except for the one of her belly. Captures their color pretty well.

Sounds like a cool gene for adding some "bling" to a nice morph, would be nice to see those smoking spots on a clown...

I may also have one of these "green labbys". I'll post some pics when I can get them off of my other computer. I have had mine since 2001. Purchased from Ben Seigal at the Daytona Expo. As a baby she just looked very bright for a "normal". Remember in 2001 the morph craze wasn't as big as it is today. My female has a green hue that is hard to pick up on film and like mentioned before, during ovulation she glows green. Has the same faded spots on her sides but her belly is checkered with gray and greenish-yellow scales. Only produced 2 clutches from her. The first clutch were all pretty dark but I did keep a male with the same looking belly. Second clutch was with a different male and the babies all had very nice flames. I didn't keep any off the second clutch.

This year I am currently breeding the 2009 son back to mom as a little side project. Now seeing this it's getting me alittle more excited about it.

It's a het Albino, correct? If so, I'd guess that most likely the het is bringing about the specific looks you're inquiring about.

Apparently late to the party here, but WOW! definitely loving the green, something you don't see often with BPs in that color range. Particularly that female offspring in the OP.
