I also went to your site, i liked it alot, the rubber floor mats for the bottom on the cage seems like a good idea :)

When you're performing with animals, are there ever people who come up after a performance and want to see the snakes? I know that I would be such a person if I saw them perform.
    Me too :)

Yes, I get asked very often but I don’t bring them out a second time, which can be a disappointment to some. If I took them from their heated carry cage for every request I get to see them they would never get any rest so I do not bring the same snake out after the show.
But I do bring other snakes for meet & greet after the show so each snake is only on display for 20-30 minutes at a time. As for Steve and I we never stop working after a show. Meeting snake people is fun for us.

When I wrote the part about rubber mats I was not aware of the fact that rubber can hold bacteria. The idea of mats for a substrate is still the best but I will be amending my care page to read that I only use Dry-Dek. That is very similar to rubber but does not hold bacteria like natural rubber does. Dry-Dek is made with a bacteria fighting product.
Although I did use rubber for many years with no problems ( but I am a clean freak) I prefer to be safer when I can so I am changing my care pages this week.
