nothing's stopping you ;) but make sure you get all the temps/humidity going for like a day before putting the snake in.
10g tanks are $15 on Wal-mart.
Again, it's just a preference thing.

im just saying i havent had issues keeping my heat and humidity where i need them using these an occasional spray now and then but nothing major using a heat lamp and uth my humidity stays around 50 ish give or take a few % and my heat is good at 80ish on cold 90ish on hot
unless my meters are wrong but like i said havnt had even a peice of shed left on any of them and they never refuse to eat lol
