The beginning of "Up" gets me, that first part just gives me a gut wrenching feeling and I end up in tears.
The end of the last Harry Potter, specifically when Harry is talking to people who are already dead makes me cry.
"Secondhand Lions" gets me pretty bad, at multiple parts too.
I'm sure there are others. But sometimes its good to watch a nice sappy movie from time to time.

Uhhh i HATE harry potter. I liked the 2nd movie and the only reason was bc of the basilisk at the end. Im not saying theyre bad, obviously theyre pretty good if so many people like them, but its just not my cup of tea at all.
I'd take lord of the rings over harry potter any day of the week. :gj:
When Boromir dies in LOTR i get sad/excited bc he dies but he goes down in such a blaze of glory!

Re: The only movie that ever made me cry
I'm don't think I can honestly say I've ever teared up during a movie.... I'm not all that overly emotional, esp. for a chick lol.
Um one movie that I doubt many have seen bc it's pretty rare and will most likely make almost anyone cry is The Plague Dogs, based on the book by Richard Adams. It's animated but is intended for adults and it is very possibly the most depressing movie ever created but it does have a pretty good message about animal cruelty and corrupt politics. The book is no better. Here's part 1 of the uncut version on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ostgqhDjIo if anyone cares to watch it- I'm sure you can follow links to the rest, but don't say I didn't warn you: it's SAAAAAAD. Oh and watch it yourself before you consider letting your kids see it, it's THAT sad. A slightly more common one based on a book by the same author is Watership Down, which is sad too but muuuuuuch less so.
Um RENT, the movie based on the play kinna made me sad for some reason.... still no tears though lol. V for Vendetta, parts of it make me kinna sad. There's more.... I just can't think of them atm.

That's EXACTLY how I am. When I got my tat on my sternum I was laughing so hard when the guy went over a sensitive part, he almost couldn't do it (since that area is going to move if you're laughing.)

Always got me... :'-(
Apparently I DID cry over this one when I was like 3 bc I've been told a story about it my whole life: I, being in a 3 yo 'become obsessed with a movie' phase, realized that Little Foot's mom died and was 'gone' on my billionth viewing of it, so I proceeded to cry to my very superstitious grandma that "Mom dead!!!!!!," while she was baby sitting me. She freaked, thinking I was psychic or something and something horrible had happened to my mom; and called the cops saying something happened to her daughter (this was before everyone had cell phones.) My mom got home and there were cops there trying to make my grandma chill out.

I get all choked up during movies and TV shows all the time. Always have. Worst one for me is Snoopy Come Home. To this day I have never seen the whole movie because I just fall apart. Since Michael Clark Duncan died recently, I can't even hear his voice without choking up a bit. He was a great actor.
There are way too many movies to list that affect me. A much less known dog movie I saw a while back and loved was Ace of Hearts. Good movie. And it's not so much Old Yeller with me as it is Where the Red Fern Grows, the old one I mean. Even the book makes me cry.

Garden State. Booohooohooooo! Seriously. I don't know what it is. I'm a girl I guess.
I also cried at the beginning of the last Harry Potter movie...so sad it's over!!! When they very very first came out, my teacher read them to us during school. Such good memories!
Also, I haven't seen it yet because it's not yet released...but The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Even the trailer just has me bawling because I know what's to come. If you haven't read the book The Perks...you really should. It's my favorite book ever, hands down.

My sisters keeper cried a lot during that one!!!
Lion king when Mufasa dies gets me every time lol
We are Marshell, when they are talking to one of the opposite teams and they have a Marshel sticker on the helmet
I never use to cry during movies, I guess having kids does this to you :)

Yep. I never saw the movie but I read the book WTRFG and it was verrrrrrrrrry sad. I think I've gotten more sad over books than any movies, they 'get into you' more imo. Oh and 'The Jungle' by Upton Sinclair. I had to read that in high school and I swear it sent me into a minor depression the whole week they had us read it in class lol. STILL no tears though. :D

Re: The only movie that ever made me cry
Was bored so thought I would post some of the songs from the movie. God I need a life...
SONG 1
"I dont feel the dis because my mrs turned me down for a ride, wont let it hurt my pride, Ill have to let it slide, if she prefers her two wheels the feel of my four, well ill kiss her then ill miss her as she walks out the door, cause shes the prettiest thing that you ever did meet, sure to stop traffic right there in the street, and everytime my wife is away from me, my heart gets heavy and I hear a melody about the clouds moving in to grip the sky, you know just what im talking about so sing about why." "There aint no sunshine when shes gone, Its not warm when shes away, aint no sunshine when shes gone, shes always gone too long, anytime she goes away. Wonder this time where shes gone, wonder if shes gone to stay, aint no sunshine when shes gone, this house just aint a home anytime she goes away."
SONG 2
"Come inside my heart, come inside its glorious, come inside spirit, theres nothing more theres nothing less, come inside my soul, come inside my glourious, love can make you whole, want nothing more want nothing less. Beautiful Spirit, Wonderful Spirit, Marvelous Spirit. Hopely Hopely Spirit" "We be livin down here in the bible belt, but some say a strong presence of the lord is felt, and people fear the devil preparing for the next level, we aint seen you in church now you a rebel? Questioning god is natural look at circumstances, cause man created the bad the way the devil dances, God is beauty and love that starts within your heart, so if you need to practice faith go ahead and play your part." "Beautiful Spirit, Wonderful Spirit, Marvelous Spirit."
SONG 3
"Walkin down this cold dark lonely road, I feel so much pain and sadness it hurts down in my soul. Wondering will I ever see your face again, and will the weight of my heart ever be lifted? I open up my eyes I miss you, everytime I fall asleep I miss you, I wanna scream and shout I miss you, Everyday its all about how I miss you, Everytime I close my eyes I miss you, Everyday I walk in the streets to be near you, when I drop my beat I feel you, how can I help you start to know how I miss you." "I miss you much, you know she go, my impression of Jenny Jackson with a little extra bit of soul, you know how we roll, off the wall, on the floor, by the shore, up the beautiful river Jordan, countin the mornings till we get up out this sand trap, with terminator gat, on an adrenaline high, seper fi, do or die, cross the line but its fly, cause its you or I, guns are smoking like sun spots, who got the drop, my band of brothers light it up keeping it hot Hooah." "Check it. Its the little things I miss the most, at home with my son Im sharing the mic post, when were suddenly overcome with the smell of my wifes roast, and we both know, to finish the song im spittin and hittin these right notes, if yall was sittin there hearin it you would be swearing it couldnt be white folks, and I might boast, cause all that I have to grasp is weapons and rifles, I will go where the fight goes, as long as I rep with my brother desiples, but a light goes, Hilary Stein I cant see the eyes of my son, and I welcome the day to lay down my gun and into my arms he will run.
ALso LOVE the final song "Knocking on heavens door." Extremely emotional and I LOVE the freestyle part.
