We feed frozen / thawed here, and feed in the enclosure.
On the big boid feedings, with a rock you may be looking to start out with rats , rabbits, pigs, some feed goats and hogs. I never have, I have fed small pigs, large (very large) rabbits etc to some of the much larger rescues. Always pre killed or frozen thawed.
Thanks

Rusty: Where does one find pigs, goats and hogs to feed to giant reptiles?
-
http://www.giantfeeders.com/
Or start getting to know some farmers in your area!

Wow. Thanks, Randy. I had no idea.

Thanks Randy, Sometimes (price wise) it is easiest to find local breeders, I used to know a gentleman who bred meat rabbits and would donate a few every month, I would just gas them and feed em off. A pig farmer we used to use, would put the pigs down for us, I couldn't watch thou I love piggies!
Thanks

Just an update: Suki and Neph took f/t jumbo mice with no hesitation this weekend. They've both been consistently good eaters. We had to offer fresh prekilled mice to the new babies because they're too small for our frozen jumbo mice. We'll have to order some frozen hoppers this week. Beatrice took the prekilled mouse with no problem, but Bene**** wouldn't take anything but live, so we have some work to do with him yet.

Sounds like a darn good start, even if Bene**** didn't want to cooperate!
