    That is why I like boas. Bigger than BPs, yet not too big. And they are inquisitive and active(not as much as a colubrid though). I love my little BP girl but when I want something more active than a pet rock, out come my boas :D

    I'm going to be the fart in a church here and say that boas are even bigger pet rocks. I see my male BP more than the boa, and my BPs actually move around when I take them out, as opposed to the boa. I'm perfectly happy with all the animals I own though.
    If somebody doesn't want a pet rock, or a "boring" pet, get a parakeet or a hamster.

    I wouldn't classify them as "pet rock", only because bp's are mostly a ground dwelling and burrow loving species. On the other hand boa's are mostly above ground and tree climbing species so their behavior presents accordingly. Underground vs above ground. Peace. :gj:

    Maybe it worked out different for me. I had well over a dozen boas. And you could put most on the back of a wooden kitchen chair, and they'd stay put forever. But my balls, they take off. That sounded funny.:P
