I was buying rats at a local pet store the other day and the guy behind the counter was obviously new because he touched the bag rather squeamishly. He asked me "do you have a snake?" and I was SO close to saying, "Nope, these things are just delicious" but decided against it. I was wearing a flowy skirt and had curled my hair that morning, so I probably wasn't in typical rat purchasing attire. I am glad though. The girls that squeal and squirm around things just annoy the crap out of me.

We can all be feminine and still like snakes! Very little grosses me out, sure, I like my skirts and bright eye shadow, but I also work at a campground on a lake and touch dead fish and worms on a daily basis, as well as fill propane tanks and fold sandy, muddy life jackets. Then I come home and warm a rat with my blowdryer and feed it to my snake. And I do it all with my hair and nails done. Nothing wrong with that! I love that about myself and everyone else can love it too. :)

Omg, Haha, how true. We had to go there a few weeks ago for another thermometer. I try to avoid that place at all costs.
