I have too many to explain all their names, however a majority of them are just tweaked snake-y versions of historical figures. I named my first Julius Squeezer, and it fits him very well. I've gotten lucky that a lot of mine fit their names very well. I have 4 new ones that still aren't named, and I named my new male yb Socko, just because he comes off as a Socko I guess lol. My son has helped me name some of my critters, such as my leopard geckos. Capri (he was holding a capri sun lol), Toe (not sure why he came up with that but it fits lol) and George (HIS gecko we got for him, probably named after Curious George lol).

Quetzal from Quetzal, Mexican feathered snake god of wisdom, associated with a lot of gold and contrast. It was between that and Apostrophe, and with his golden colors and minimal blushing I thought Quetzal was a better fit.

Benten - A Japanese snake goddess who enlists white snakes as her messengers.

Then I have my Celtic references...

Blane - My yellowbelly, a derivative from an ancient word 'Bla' for yellow.
Corcha - Alternative of Corchen, an ancient Celtic snake goddess.
Ronan - Celtic origin with an interesting reference. I'll be impressed if anyone can guess it.

    And then I'm just a WC nerd (;

I tend to name my "pairs" with "couples" names. My yellowbelly pair is Popeye and Olive Oyl, then there's Converse and Adidas, Suzuki and Kawasaki, Roxy and Vans. Then all my others just have random names that I like, History ( spider female ) Gemini ( pin female ) Merlin ( lesser male ) Grace, Ivy, Marleen, Goldie, Surita ( some normal girls ). Oh, my butter female is Parkay :)

You should name the next pair you get nike and reebok.
    Nike FTW lol!

    In order of acquisition:

Chloe - After the Smallville character
Alex - After Alexander the Great because he is a Great Big Ball Python!
Sammy - After Samantha Carter of SG1
Ziva - After the NCIS character
Jacob - Influence by Jake the Snake Roberts.
Taiyo and Tsuki - Japanese for Sun and Moon.
Sunshine - She was my first Albino. It just seemed fitting with all the yellow.
Sango, Kagome, Rin, Ayame, Koga, Kirara, and Inuyasha - All from the Inuyansha Anime.

All of mine are named after some kind of alcohol :) (and no I don't drink a lot, haha)

    Moscato (pastel BP)
    Kahlua (my normal)
    Brandy (DH Coral Albino Boa)
    Killian (Red Tail Boa)
    Jameson (ColumbianxHog Boa)
    Lemoncello (Albino BP)
    Stella Artois (Spider BP)

I had two other corn snakes before I sold them (Charbay and Bailey)
