    Personally, Angellady said it best. IMO you need to triple check your husbandry because it sounds like it's possibly off. You need to feed at night, they are nocturnal and even my best feeders won't even look at a rat during the day. I suggest feeding inside his enclosure. The risk of impaction is much less than his risk of starving himself due to stress. I have some that I could feed in separate containers if I really wanted to, and some that would go off feed indefinitely. Sometimes it's just not possible, and it's a personal preference that I think no one here needs to judge. I personally feed inside their own enclosures because I feel it to be less stressful to them, but if it's successful for some then why not. As far as the OP (sorry got off base a little with you guys lol) I really suggest looking into the requirements with the husbandry. You mentioned the heat pad and CHE but not a thermostat, which worries me and I'm sure others that maybe the husbandry is incorrect, and between that and the moving to feed...he won't eat.
