are there any animals you dont like or are fearful of?

Rational fear: anything that can potential kill me, venomous snakes.
I can be near them, I'm just not going out of my way to be near them, I wouldn't own hots.

Irrational fear: maggots and parasites- bot fly larva
Both come from when I was a kid, I once poked a bloated dead deer with a stick and it burst, the other was catching a wild vole with a couple bot fly larvae sticking out of its belly, their little jaws like something out of the movie "Alien".

Actually Baboons and Chimpanzees seem to be the worst to me !

Pretty much any deadly venomous snake scares the pee out of me. Not like hoggies where it'll just sting for a bit, I mean the ones that can kill you, and the ones that just look like they want to kill you. I couldn't own hots, some are absolutely gorgeous but I couldn't get over that fear. My cojones are not that big :rofl:

I also don't like bugs. They don't necessarily "scare" me, they just make me squirm, and I don't like them lol. I got forced into holding a millipede at the last show....I was itching for hours after that. Bleh! I hate bugs lol.

I know this isn't an animal, but maggots. I am deathly afraid of them. It's not the fact that they are nasty creature. Maggots, larva, things like that. Scare the living crap out of me. I'm fine with everything else. Unless there is just a random bug on me I'll freak because I don't know what it is. But if I see a bug I could pick it up, not that I would. I have a ball python. I work at a pet store so I handle a lot of things. I've held a tarantula. Doesn't bother me. I don't know why these things scare me. :(

Weeellllll, I have a love/hate relationship with birds - LOL. I love how cute & personable they are, their funny little expressions, and of course the ones who can talk... but I hate how loud they can get, and the fact that I'm VERY allergic to them!

I actually had an African Grey Parrot many years ago, and she was smart as a whip - she could say probably 10-15 words at only a year old, and also did some really amazing sound effects. But the early-morning squawking was rather annoying, as was the fact that I literally couldn't breathe & became feverish around her. This allergy was causing major health problems, so luckily my veterinarian (who already had 7 birds) offered her a wonderful forever home. :)

Oh yeah... and I'm terrified of spiders!! :weirdface

Yellow Jacket hornets and I have never gotten along, but beyond that I fear no animal I've ever met. Respect is the biggest thing to remember, especially when it comes to wild animals...most of them are NOT cuddly!

Jellyfish. And I have GOOD REASON, TOO.

Cows.

Don't laugh! Every single cow I've met has hated me and tried to kill me. Starting from the cow that my granddad got when he bought a farm when I was 7.

Introduced it to me, I tried to make friends, the cow proceeded to headbutt me in the stomach and then try to trample me when I was on the ground.

Relations have not improved since then.

Horses. i like them; as long as there on the other side of the fence. also the wife scares me from time to time;)
