I would actually suggest the rope hinges they don't rust or pose any attachment issues they are easily cleaned and easy to maintain. If I was to suggest a second choice I would go with acrylic hinges and use a acrylic solvent cement to fix them. The rivets worked but are not a friendly solution, I have decided to blob hot melt on the back of the rivets as they had sharp bits.
