I still think it was some kind of fluke. Unless, of course, there is a super granite in the mix somewhere.

Hi sorry am work at the moment on a double shift! Only pic I have of him are ones about 6 months ago in action so to speak. He was bought as a nerd line lemon pastel.
I agree the odds on a het x het pairing are bizarre and was surprised to see these pop out and pleased lol!
It has been suggested by a large breeder to me that the female may carry a type of hidden gene and needs to be bred again to see what pops out. She's eating like a pig so should be up to weight end of this year.
Have got some eggs waiting to hatch from the same male pastel to a normal normal so it will help decide where the genes originate. All good fun!
I have nothing to hide. Fluke perhaps. Time will tell hey?

Great lookin' babies! Definitely appears to be be genetic. As others have suggested, I wouldn't let even one of those out of my sight until I knew for sure what I had. Best of luck with the project! :gj:

Thanks, after listening to advice they're all staying here.
Turns out the the 'normals' are 1.2 and the pastels are 1.3.

these are in no way normals. The patterns of all the snakes are the same. There is definitely something funky going on. Perhaps you should breed mom to het lucy.
