Same here, Lol. Been around blacktop,since i could walk. I remember riding on my first I.R. roller with my grandfather when I was 9. Almost everyone in my family either owns a small driveway service. or works for someone who does. It was kinda a given id fall into this line of work.:)

Hi guys.
I'm a Civil engineer. I basically build big projects such as bridges, roads, buildings, drainage and services etc . . . . .
My job is to:
- Study the drawings and specifications
- Set out the works so everything can be built in the right place and level and also correctly
- Order materials and engineering equiptment.
- Keep equiptment and labour time sheets and compile quality and inspection records.
I've been doing this now for 6 years. Before while a studied (A levels) and during holidays i worked with my brother converting lofts and with a shoppfitting company.
Im also a trained carpenter and brick layer.

I am a emergency services dispatcher for my city... In other words Im the one you talk to when you call 911 and also dispatch police/fire/or medical to calls( never a dull moment)

I went to college to be an emt. Wanted to be a paramedic. Failed the test three times. Decided to work at petsmart as a pet care specialist. Love it so much I want to manage my department...

Well, I kind of work under the table cleaning houses. Not for a company or anything, just my self, cleaning houses for money.

I work for a health insurance company, I test the code that processes the benefits and pays the claims. There are a lot of subsystems involved but if mine isn't working right nothing else is!
So if your claim paid wrong I haven't gotten to that code change yet :P

I work fulltime in bank telephone customer service. Low-level tech support, resetting people's online passwords for them when they call in. I enjoy this job; it pays well, and my employer is pretty generous and I get along with my coworkers mostly. I get to be friendly and helpful over the phone; I used to do collections, and it is such a relief not to try to make people pay!
As for hobbies! I love gardening, and art; drawing and painting. I do this on the side, for fun, not actually as a job. I also plan on taking over my husband's duties in which he schedules himself to tattoo people; because he is often overbooking himself and really needs the help!
