    Thanks everyone!

He's been growing steadily, and I believe is a good size for his age even with my more conservative feeding.

Well as usual he got super enthusiastic about feeding time. He flew through the air, twisting until he just happened to hit the mouse. This was the result. I need to start filming feeding time with him, it's always so hilarious. He misses all the time and acts like a dork until by chance he finds his food.

    HaHa!

It's reassuring knowing that I'm not the only one with crazy feeding mishaps.:)

I think keeping the mouse still throws him off lmao He's easily the snake with the most insane feeding strikes. Even the retic just pulls the rat off the tongs down to the floor, but Sanji just completely flips out. It's relatively normal when he actually hits his target though. Haha He just has really terrible aim.

I read a lot of your posts, and I really enjoy them. Just a really friendly concerned piece of advice. Switch to tweezers, I would hate to see him try to squeeze into one of the openings. Definitely something to think about as he grows. Peace, enjoy.

I would use tweezers but they simply don't have enough reach, and he would just be even more confused during feeding time by the proximity of my warm hand.

If it becomes a problem, when he gets larger I'll just set his mice/rats down in his enclosure until he becomes large enough for that not to be an issue. For now, this will work. If he can fit through it before eating he can fit in it after as generally his meals do not leave a bulge.

Sanji now weighs 86 grams, eating rat hoppers instead of fuzzies, every 10 days.
