What's he 5, 6 foot? How big do you expect him to get?
Re: Yafe - Albino Carpet - FINAL - Progression Thread
6FT+. Probably closer to 6.5FT or more. That tank is a 4X2' and 18" tall. He's coming out about 2 feet and diagonal and front to back easy. I'd have to measure the couch and see him stretched out, but I am pretty sure he is at least 6ft. I think Behira (BI) is about 6ft and he is longer. She weighs substantially more and is very thick compared to him, so tough to compare.
Yafe has slowed down a lot in growth. I do not think he will get significantly bigger. He has been around the 2kg mark for about a year now. Last September he was 1.9kg.
I did just start giving him medium/large rats (which I will do from time to time) instead of mediums only. However, he seems happy and healthy.

Yafe is thickening up a bit. He is still calm and docile as ever. He is rather long though. This makes maneuvering him around the small reptile area a chore as he likes to explore. This means handling him involves other parts of the finished basement now.

Me neither. He's a little over 2kg. His body type is such that even though he is longer than Behira (female BI), he is about 1/2 her weight.
It is amazing how graceful he is and how well he climbs.
He eats medium rats every two weeks, but I mix in larger ones as well. He is doing great.
