I will have to pick that one up one of these days. I haven't seen it in ages.

Yep, but if memory serves, it wasn't originally planned for him to do that scene. I believe that the actor who was cast to play the husband either just couldn't get it right, or didn't show up for shooting. Either way, with the schedule/budget they were on, they couldn't wait to find someone else, so Scorsese did the scene himself.

    OK, here's one for you:

In "Kill Bill" Volumes 1&2, two seperate actors each play two roles in the films. Name each actor and the two characters they play.

I know the sheriff in part I and the guy with the spanish accent in part II (Esteban?) were played by the same actor, but I don't know his name.

The other one is the Asian guy who plays Johnnie Moe (I think that's the character's name), the leader of The Crazy 88's and Pei Mei. Don't know the actor's name either.

    Re: Name that movie (off-off-topic)
You guys got it! Michael parks plays the Sherriff in Vol 1 and Esteban the Mexican Pimp in Vol 2. Gordon Liu plays Johnnie Moe in Vol 1 and Pei Mei in Vol 2. On a side note, Pei Mei's character is not a Tarantino creation, he appeared in several martial arts movies in the 70's. The irony is that in one of them Gordon Liu fights the Pei Mei character.

    Re: Name that movie (off-off-topic)
Here's a hint: The original screenplay was written by a famous writer/director who wasn't very well known at the time, and had his name taken off of the screenplay when he saw what it was re-written into. The famous director who made the movie has since been arrested for drug possession a couple times.

BTW where did you get the "Nosferatu" screen shot?

    Re: Name that movie (off-off-topic)
"Natural Born Killers" The prison interview scene with Woody Harrelson and Robert Downey Jr.

The original screenplay was written by Quentin Tarantino before anyone knew who he was. Once Oliver Stone got done re-writing it, Quentin had his name taken off of the credits. Since directing "NBK", Stone has been arrested at least twice for possession.

Quentin eventually resold the original screenplay and it became the basis for the movie "True Romance" with Patricia Arquette and Christian Slater.
