I don't think I've posted in here yet...

I've got my lobes stretched to 0g... Thought about going up to 00 and have the tapers and plugs, but I've bought so many 0g plugs that I like, I don't want to waste the money by stretching more so they don't fit...

I used to have mine stretched. I think my largest was a 4. They were pretty fun but I took them out after about two years because I got kind of bored of them. It's been a lonnnnnng time since I had them, perhaps I will start again this year.

    LOL! I wish...

A lot of people go to professional piercers to have their lobes stretched. You can also buy kits to do it yourself. (If you're not comfortable doing this, it's better left to the pros...)

Basically, you start with a small hole. Mine personally started with a normal 20g piercing like you get at the piercing stores in the mall. I started by moving up to a 14g ring, which is bigger than the 20, but not a huge step up. I just pushed that through with no problem. Wait a few weeks/months for it to heal up, then go up to the next size. Every step up though is a bigger increase in diameter, so the change gets gradually more drastic (if that makes sense). Eventually, you will need a taper kit (like in the pic below). The taper is a cone shape, starting narrow and gradually getting bigger, maxing out at the size you want to stretch to. When I stretched mine, I would put just a dab of lubricant on the taper and push it through, then follow it through with the plug. There's a definite burning sensation when you push it through, but it goes away fairly quickly and is well worth it IMO.

I am up to 7/8" and i never used a taper in my life. I just move up one size at a time and they just kinda slide right in for me.

I also have the holes above those dropped down to 0g but I'm not wearing anything in them for the time being. I've got a few pictures of my progress on my myspace http://www.myspace.com/x0hollow0x
    Just took this picture:

This was the largest I had both holes stretched together before I had to drop down the top holes. 9/16" and 5/8" There was just too much pressure between the two plugs that they were splitting the skin, lots of pain, not cool.

And of course, most of the rest of my piercings:

    By the way, thats hot.
