I agree with watever that a no-kink caramel-looking animal is just FAN-TAS-TIC!
Yes they have attempted to breed it to caramel which presumably produced double hets.
Re: Here is my Ultramel male!
Now that's some nice eye candy fo sho!
Re: Here is my Ultramel male!
I am sorry that some of you think that it is a Caramel. It is a baby Burgundy Albino. Adult pictures have been compared to Tracy's at VPI Burgundy Albino and you can see that they are the same thing. After having a baby one here now I can see the resemblance in person.
It has been bred to a Caramel and it didn't produce any Caramels. Yes this is the same thing as Noah line Caramels, Crider Caramels and now they are called Ultramels. I personally like the name and helps clear up any confusion. Some people have been asking me about cost. At the present time if you want one here in the United States you are going to pay 5K for one. I hope that this answers the questions.
Thanks
Brock

Re: Here is my Ultramel male!
I LIKE IT!!!! :gj:
I don't think it truly resembles a Caramel as a baby -- and certainly not as an adult. Different animal that will do different things when combined with other morphs I would suspect. Caramel kinking is scary for most folks. Kinking has kept many away from working with them.
My Caramel Mojave project is line breeding SK, as well as crossing into Nerd line -- het to het. If I told you I did not have kinking in the back of my mind with every lock -- I would be a LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE!!!!:colbert:
I am looking to fix that "stresser" down the road by breeding my Upscale Caramel into the Cinny, Yellow Belly, Pastel, and Spider genes this season in order to make codom hets.
Doug Beard (Upscale co-founder) reported 43 line bred visual Caramels were produced by him from Het to Het pairings...ZERO KINKS. :O
Good enough for me.
Plan is to cross the Upscale into the SK and NERD stock as well as line bred.
Re: Here is my Ultramel male!

Brock would know for sure, but it has not been around long enough to cross into anything being that it is a recessive animal? -- Brock? :)
