I only get tattoos (name or portrait) of dead people. I mean seriously, how much could they possibly mess you over after they're dead?

    Symbolism is cool though. :P

The only name you should get tattooed on yourself (IMO) is your own, or your kids....

I have a matching tattoo with my ex husband and thank GOD it doesnt have names in it... I still want to get it covered up by something badarse because the idea of us matching at all is enough to make me vomit.

i know it sounds like a good idea right now, but i dont advise it. i hope you two have a long happy marrige. but what if? and i understand even if you split up you think that it wouldnt matter because she is part of your life..but...you will regret it if you two split.

i had my gfs initials on my ankle. shortly after, we split up. we are back together but i got it covered up and she was ok with it. im younger and i we've only been together for 2 years but still. ill never do it again. just my :twocents: goodluck with your decision :P get a snake tattooed instead lol

    tattoos are forever,
kids are forever, so get tats of them.

wives are 50% replaceable which is a statistical fact,

dont do it!! You never know what the future holds, I would suggest something else that represents her such as her fav flowers or something that she is really into. Not only do you not know what the future holds it is hard to find a really good artist that can do a tat of a face that is super realistic and you may not be happy with the end result. Also I started getting tattooed at a young age and have had several things covered, they never look as great as a cover up as they do when you get it right the first time!

I vote no. Every person I know that has put a name of someone else on their body is no longer with that person.

I plan to get a tat of my kids hand print. I figure she will always be mine no matter what she does.

It's not hard to find a good portrait artist at all.

Wow I kinda bailed on this thread huh....

Any way, my bike has taken precedence over everything else, so no tattoo.

But if/when I do get one I will post it on BPnet for sure.
