There's a reason for this. I have an honest suggestion for you after reading this thread. Seriously, sometimes you have to just leave your snake alone. When they're stressed, they don't eat as well or stop completely. They aren't social, they don't want to go hang out with you everywhere, and they don't enjoy human company. If you want that, you should have a dog or cat.
And the bath thing is just weird. First of all, the temps I (or most people) would take a bath at are much much higher than what the snake can handle. Second, aren't you worried about them crapping in the water? I give my blood pythons soaks in the tub, but there's absolutely no reason for me to get in there with them.
This whole thread is very strange...

I agree, this thread is weird.
Bathing with snakes, birdhouse hides....
There's a reason they're called birdhouses. So that there's enough space for a male and female bird to nest AND have a bunch of baby birds in there. Way too much room for a BP to fit comfortably.
Do your snake a favor, and get two identical, TINY hides that the snake can curl up in comfortably (comfortably being no space left), maybe by getting some pot holder saucers and cutting a hole on the side. OR, get the best hides out there, from www.reptilebasics.com
What kind of heat do you provide and how do you control it?

I know it can be discouraging when new users/snake keepers log on to the forum are told that their setup or the way they care for snakes are not the best. However, this forum is about educating herp keepers and sharing information and experience.
When members make suggestions, they are based from knowledge and experience. From reading this thread, I think you are not caring for your snake the best you can. It might be the best you know how, but that is not good enough. Snakes are very different from common household pets such as cats and dogs. As reptiles, their behavior and body function very differently. If you are a beginner to anything, you must be willing to learn.
The more information you provide, the more we can help you. Also, the more information you see, the more knowledgeable you will become, and therefore be able to give youre snake, which it appears you love very dearly, the best care you can provide.
