Caym : There is no shame in learning Vai... I'm more of a Satriani player myself but hey, we all have our weaknesses... mine just happens to be animals and the art of shredding whatever musical instrument I touch.

Peter, This may sound stupid but I've always wanted to follow in the family footsteps and work at GM. I dropped out of high school, got out of bad habits, got my GED and now I'm working at GM and it's bought me a house and all my animals and everything I have to be thankful for, my parents have been here the whole way encouraging me to do all the things I've wanted to achieve. Get your parents behind you first, that helps immensely! I have this little theory and it goes something like this "Have a job that supports you while you're achieving what your dreams are but have no backup plan. Settle for nothing less then what you want to do!"

Some of the happiest people in the world work the crappiest jobs in the world. Once again I have the utmost in confidence in you. Good luck!

am I weird that my dream has absolutely nothing to do with the job that I'm working, but the people I spend my non-working time with?
