Hope you had full coverage insurance on your bike.
Is it a total loss or you going to try to fix it?

For a 45mph full impact, broadside into a Mercedes that had u-turned across my path I got off pretty light - damaged talar dome (ankle), hairline fracture to knee, dislocated tes*es, torn rotator cuff, a broken tooth, whiplash and concussion.....

Lucky I was wearing full gear - Arai RX7, full Joe Rocket leathers, Sidi Vertebra boots, Knox back protector and Joe Rocket leather gloves - I had to be cut out of the gear but that was a small price to pay to get morphine!!

Bike was fully insured but this will be a "not at fault" accident so all payments will come from the other parties insurance.

Bike is a total loss - paid £9200 for it in August 2007 and salvage value is £600 - as its a class B total loss in the UK it can only be purchased for parts and only by a licensed breaker.

I definitely had someone looking out for me on this occasion and do feel pretty lucky to be here.
