Thanks Heather. I hope I got the sexing right and will repeat it a few times. I've never popped little hatchings before and it's a bit nerve wracking to say the least (okay I know I'm unlikely to snap their dang tails off but...... :oops:)

It is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

But it is nerve wracking...

I watched the one with it's head out and it easily slid it back in so hopefully we made the holes big enough the second time around (thanks again Wes!).

Awwwww Jo, they are just beautiful!

We had a little one with a kink last year . . . a cute little blond pastel female. Her kink was about 1 inch down from her head. I was really worried about her ability to eat. We decided that if she couldn't eat, we would put her down - I was so not looking forward to that.

Well, 1 year later and she is growing like a pig. She can somehow eat and while the kink is still there, it is not quite so noticeable. She will always be a wonderful pet.

Thanks so much for sharing that, Alice. I've no experience with a kink like this so any information from you experienced folks is a real godsend to us right now. So far she's doing just what the others are - the whole bunch of them are heading into their first sheds right on time. :)
