Imagine if you hadn't had the instinct to breed the son back to the mother?! You'd have had a genetic goldmine that you didn't even know about sitting in your tubs! Congrats on having the fantastic instinct that has led to a new line of pieds being born  I can't wait to see these little ones as they grow!

I honestly didn't know what would come out, but from seeing how the son looked I knew I had to breed him back. Then earlier this year he sired two clutches that hatched and I looked at the babies and began to get excited about this clutch.... that's why i pipped the eggs myself - somehow I just knew something cool would show up... I had no idea they would be pieds though.

Congrats Justin. What a beautiful snake. Now, does that thing have penes or not? Either way, I know you must feel like you are in a dream.

the pied is a girl, the pastel pied a boy. I'm very happy with that breakdown...

The more I look at that Pastel Pied the more I'm intrigued by it. The pattern is amazing. The weird part is, I don't think its pretty per-say But just so unique and cool looking. (kinda the way Lesser Pieds turned out to be a white snake and although I think it's cool, I really hoped they'd be pieds just with the lesser colors instead of normal) I was really looking for a pied with pastels colors when I opened this link, but the more I look at it, the more I decided I'm gonna have to take up that offer of yours to come down and see your place and talk about a breeding loan. :)

besides with your instincts/luck of getting your own line, I gotta bottle some of that luck that some of my fancy normals prove out :)

It really grows on you. My appreciation for it has doubled in the past 24 hours and I really expect that will have a VERY different look once it sheds, just as pastels do.

Let me know when you want to come on down!

unreal! A male pastel/pied too. a million congrats to you sir

The pastel/pied is wicked and is it just me or do they not look like the typical pied?? Alot of striping going on, I mean my normal pied is striped but not that those...killer maybe this new line is somewhat different and more intense.
