Hehe....Justin, my b-day is the 20th. But happy belated to ya!! The first post shows up as the 19th on your computer because Derek (dr del) posts several hours ahead of us...so his 20th is our 19th. :P Confused yet???

Once again, thank you ALL so very much!! Ever since Dean left, I've done very well at not feeling sorry for myself. No pity parties or anything. But this morning, I was having to really fight against that. It was tough. Losing/hunting/finding my snake didn't help either....although the "finding" part of that equation helped balance things out again. LOL

But that was not the end of my birthday surprises. Shortly before noon, I got a call (not my hubby) from a number I didn't recognize....and heard a voice I hadn't heard in 12 years! It was an uncle of mine, who was my "favorite uncle" when I was growing up. He said, "I'm in Converse (the town I live in) ....can I take ya to lunch???" Well...heck yeah!!! It wasn't hard to get me to ditch my plans of cleaning house... LOL

So we met and had a lovely reunion lunch....then came back to the house to visit some more before he had to leave to go home. (He lives about 2 hours away from here) And while we were chatting, my doorbell rang.....I answer the door and my MOM is standing there!! (Her and Uncle Jamie had actually planned all this in advance...the stinkers!) Unfortunately, Jamie had to leave early...but Mom is here now and we had a lovely dinner out.

And while we were at dinner...my cell phone rang...and it was Dean!! He'd just gotten in from spending five days out in the field wearing armor and shotting an M-16 at stuff. Was obviously tired and sore, but called to wish me Happy Birthday and tell me he loved me.

With all my friends here....and beloved family.....God has richly blessed me this day. Definitely one of my most memorable and bestest birthdays ever.

(Oh...and my gift from Dean...a whole day at Isabella's European Day Spa! :carrot: )

Once again....thank you all so much...for being here...for caring!!! :grouphug:

Aww Judy I was thinking about you, and have kept your husband in my thoughts. I am so glad to hear you had such a good day. Family certainly does have a way of turning things around for you. Again glad you had a nice time.
