He was not expecting anyone being in the house and upon entering the front door came face to face with a party going on of about 8 mannequins dressed in suits and dresses. Startled him so bad I'm sure he was the running joke of the day back at the hospital.

I LOVE this story! The only bad part is no one had a video camera filming it. ;)

Sissy? :evileye: I don't think so. (well at least about the tornados :giggle: ) I love storms myself, but I draw the line at tornados. They're not too bad if they're in the distance, but those things are scary!! I've been too close to a couple, and I didn't enjoy it one bit.

I love thunderstorms.. the things that terrify me are these stupid blizzards where you can't see an inch in front of your nose outside on the road driving; let alone walking 5x. 50 feet from the house to the barn and back with 10g buckets of water for horses that have been in for a week and are ready to explode out of a stall!
Nancy, I have a little bit of a mannequen story for ya. Mark worked for a rent-to-own company a few years back, and was working closely with his friend who was collections manager.. They were cleaning out an old former KMart store for their office building, and there were a few vintage mannequins in the basement. Well, Mark had the great idea to put a creepy little boy one (looked just like Eddie Munster) into the backseat of the company Jeep Laredo and scare his friend.. he was watching out the upstairs window.. only to see his friend along with the CEO and the actual Owner of the danged company and his cohorts getting into the truck! lol; his pal was a little ticked off but got back at us by standing "Benny" (the mannequin) up behind our house one night; about gave both of us a heart attack as we pulled into the parking spot!
Sadly, benny was used for target practice, ending his short-lived second life as a scare prop. I am pretty ticked; I would have at least sold him on ebay or something; I just watched How It's Made on TV, the mannequin edition, and brand-new ones go for around 2-3k!

Rootstiens cost thousands, but most mannequins go for 2 or 3 hundred. When we were moving we had real fun by putting only a wig on the torso and belting them in the truck seat next to me. You would not believe the people that thought I had indecent women riding along. People would race upalong side to get a better look. Or lay them in the truck bed wrapped in a blanket with hands sticking out.
