    Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?
I've never hunted but shot alot of guns...Fishing is more my thing!

I live in Florida but have lived in maine for 6 years so I've had pretty much the best of both worlds. I've fished streams, rivers and lakes catching Brook trout, Rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, and northern largemouth, northern pike in maine..

In florida it's a little different... Saltwater wise...
It's all about the snook & reds with me and I usually just use shrimp...although theres alot of fun stuff to catch out here... ;)

Freshwater I am a sucker for those Lunker Florida Largemouth's... My largest was around 12 or 13 pounds... and for those I usually use plastic worms or spinner baits but those rapala husky jerks work really good too!

I love to do both but unfortunately don't get to do enough of either. I just bought a new .270 as a present to myself in August and have only shot it 7 or 8 times so far...none of which were at a deer.

Daniel, where do you hunt and fish?

my fave story includes a cousin of mine as well.

my cousin and his friend were up to pittsburgh for a visit, and my cousin and I LOVE fishing, especially night fishing.

so we're fishing away, and my cousin starts complaining how cold it was outside, goes to the car, and gets a jacket.

I was bored so I decided I was gonna take a dip in the lake (I had on a bodysuit...no skinny dipping for me)

so I walk down the ramp into the water and you could just see my cousin ice over. course this whole story wouldnt be near as funny is it hadnt been about 78 degrees that night

Never been hunting, but I love to fish...mostly largemouth and smallmouth bass. Virginia is o.k. but can't compare to Florida for largemouth...Here's a pic of my biggest bass. Caught many years ago when I was a young'n...12lbs...:D
