It is not always that long of a wait. I ordered mine on 11/5/2006 and it was del on 12/22/06. A little less than 7 weeks.
It is what it is if you want one :)

Wow thats odd. I just got a cage from reptile basics this past weekend. And i love it. Very nice cage very well made and the flexwatt is installed expertly in between two layers of plastic cant even see the seam. I hope he still ships them because i need two more....

It says this under the 2'x4'x14" cage:

"Due to the increases in FedEx shipping charges 2/5/07 we have been forced to discontinue sale of this model when shipping is required. We are still offering it as a "pickup" item at shows. If you have purchased on of these in the past and would like another or can pickup at a show please contact us and we will be glad to discuss it."

I think it is strictly this model cage.

I am sure his cages are great, but I ended up ordering a boaphile last week and am eagerly awaiting its arival. I ended up getting a gray 421 coupe. He talked me out of the white because he thinks it stresses the animal with such a bright enclosure. He says the glue also yellows over time. I have seen pics of the gray enclosures and they look very nice.

He says the lead time right now is 2-3 weeks. I will post lots of pics when it comes in :)
