I don't even know if this translates into a reptile business or not - but I found this interesting in a recent Town Hall Meeting at my company.

Companies with the highest net promoter scores in their industry grow 2.6 times faster than their competition.

Net promoters are those who will on a scale of 1-10 answer as a 9 or 10 on the question: How likely are you to recommend ABC to a friend? Net Detractors answer as 6 or below. Passives are 7-8 score.

So, in the example of a sample for our company, out of 119 people who did the survey:

    # of promoters - 19 - # of detractors - 17 = 4 Net Promoters

    # surveyed - 119, Net promoter score was 3.4%.

I wonder if a sample was done like that for MKR, what their net promoter score would be and if it would translate down the road for them?

    Just thinking out loud.

I pee on the fire in hopes I can put it out......but I'm so damn drunk, I'm peeing straight liquor...therefore the fire only gets bigger...and eventually weenies get roasted.

Great post daniel...it really made me think how silly all this is. I guess a lot of people are in the same train of thought as me...."the more negative that's out there, the more people be educated on how they really are".....

If i started doing research on an unknown seller and came accross 3 HUGE threads (one here, 2 at fauna) about how MKR sh**s on everyone, then I would not do business with them. If i came accross an inquiry forum where one or 2 things were negative, I would take it into consideration, but if the majority of feedback was positive, then I would most likely do business with them.

Those involved with MKR have a negative reptutaion all accross these boards as well as Fauna. And it's not because "a small group of people like to bad mouth them" either...it's a big headed moron that likes to badmouth everyone else and thinks he's the god of the ball python world. Noone likes to do business with that (unless of course, you're uneducated in the situation)

As far as me and MKR...everyone knows I despise them. Everyone knows I read the threads where he makes a fool of himself, everyone knows I've seen the video of him making a fool of himself. Everyone knows where I've formed my opinion. I think it's safe to say that I know where everyone else has formed their opinion too. I will not do business with MKR...and that's that. If anyone asks me, face to face, "will you do business with them"....my response will be "no..Never", would I recommend them? no...never...

Those are my thoughts. and those are my thoughts branded into this board forever. if anyone runs a search on "MKR", they will read my thoughts...that's all I can ask for.

With that said, I think it's pretty much safe to say that I will use water instead of pee to put out the fire from now on. I'll leave theses threads alone and be another one of the hundreds of spectators...However, If I am personally called out by one of MKR's many alias', I will respond if defense is necessary.

I will more than likely get 900 million flames for this but whos cares right.

I don't see the point in having to defend your choice in this post. If you wish to express your reason as to why you voted the way you did then fine. But commenting on other peoples posts for their reason is counter productive. There are 2 MKR threads that I have read in the last two days that would be better suited for the back and forth stuff about MKR. The poll is on wether or not you would buy from them knowing what we know. Stick to that and maybe we'll get a more accurate vote.

NOPE, they will NEVER get a penny from me!
I'd rather spend the extra money and get myself a well bred, nice, top quality animal from someone on here or from someone like NERD, Adam, etc!

They DO NOT appreciate any of their animals and it is very obvious that they are only in the business for the money. Yeah they may seem like they have good customer service, but.... that only goes to an extent for me while I'm looking to buy something from someone, anyone matter of fact!

I dont agree in setting people up! it is wrong in all ways that is wrong!

and if I get flamed on here for my vote then so be it! But for you all to sit back and set people up and then bash them for there vote because of the fact that they happen to be satesfied (sp?) with there animals and expearence with MKR then some of the people here are sad puppies that need mental help.

Or to set people up to lie on there vote to get out of being bashed on and flamed is just as wrong. I do not believe any more on walking on egg shells around some of you.
but i guess that some feel that they have to now because of your relentless public bashing and flaming and setups like this one right here.

    IMO though.

Jessie I don't think this thread was started as a "you'll get bashed if you vote yes!" kind of thread...i think this thread was started with the intentions of getting a point accross.
