I am not sure if i finished IT or IT finished me! I still have to clean up my mess, populate it and then do what writeup might come in handy - though i'm not sure how useful it will be (how mahy folks are going to want to anchor it into their wall hehe).

But it's wired warm and ready!

    (edit: caca I thought I had a pic uploaded :( )

Looking good Matt! Wwhy do I have the theme song from the kid's show "Bob the Builder" running through my head...must be way too early and not enough coffee yet! (Bob the Builder...can we build it?....yes we can!)

Great job Matt! And since you did not nail or glue yourself to it, I would say that you got the better of it teehee! :D

Surprisingly no nails nor glue - but an awful lot of screwing.

OK so thats phase 1 ;)

Seriously! Though it will be a while until I dive right into the next 2 sections. I still have to pretty that one up - but it's fired up and cozy to go. The next two parts will hold the taller version of the 1960s (forget the number) in 2 columns of 6 and then on the end a single column to hold a stack of 5 or 6 huge reptile tubs.

Yeah I know - Icarus syndrome, right?

That really looks awesome, Matt! Just looking at all those empty rack slots...and the potential ones soon to come....gives me shivers of anticipation for all you can choose to put in there! I know your current crop of critters will have already claimed a large bit of that real estate...but I KNOW you'll be having room for more! :P

Yeah - maybe overkill on the timber but not by much. Given the 3/4 ply 11 high begged for the 2x4. I am ready now for my honorary structural engineering degree for fudging the load-bearing calculations lol.

I have to admit Vaughn, the ease of cleaning/maintenance was high on the list of motivating factors!

You know it Judy - as inhibiting as lack of funds can be even when it can be scraped up lack of SPACE really kills that potential. Gladly that is no longer an issue! Besides we've got all these little bp's that will grow into that space before we know it!
