i just got back from field herping at out property and seeing a foot long gopher snake in our field and a garter snake eating a frog(that was over the weekend). the day before that i just got back from washington dc for a week for a school trip, it was pretty fun. i got to see all the monuments and everything.

That is so not fair. We only got to do day trips to DC. Of course we lived 30 minutes from there. What was your favorite part of DC?

definitely the view of the washington monument from the lincoln memorial. i had lots of favorite parts though. like all the war memorials, espescially the vietnam memorial, and going to the custess mansion where robert e. lee used to live and seeing all those graves and the tomb of the unknown soldier. i even got to see audie murpheys grave! whatabout you?

I don't know if I have a favorite part. It just feels like home to me. My grandmother grew up playing in the capital building. I just thought that was super cool. I really enjoy the air and space museum though. I'll go with that. :D

My favorite part of DC was the cherry blossoms!! Wow, DC is sooo pretty in the spring! Of course, the autumn leaves were pretty amazing as well, for someone who comes from the southwest. But those blossoms and other spring blooms....wow wow wow!
