He's looking awesome. It's going to be great to watch his colors change and intensity as he ages.

    Keep up the good work!

I think I have to find him new perches. He'd rather defy the laws of physics and dangle off the thermometer than sit on the cheap springy bamboo bars [emoji14]

The bamboo bars are too thick for him. I always go with the snake girth and I get the same diameter perches. Also adding a crossbar would help him.

Thanks! That's a handy perch sizing rule -- I'm surprised I haven't heard anything like that elsewhere. I'm looking at the perches at Specialty Enclosure Designs and will probably pick something up from there.

Never hesitate to make your own perches.

I actually recommend some real tree branches or trunks if you can mix them in. When the animal grows you can increase the perch size.

I have some pretty big stuff in the cages here.

    The snake looks phenomenal though!!

Somebody's looking a little blue! He's been putting on some good growth since he got here -- about 1.5" in three months. Very proud of this handsome little guy.

Fresh paint and looking fine! Shed cycle only took eight days this time. He seems to be developing what I like to call "dual tone" coloration -- gold along his back and silver on his sides. Can't wait to see how he continues to develop!
