2018 Breeding Season Thread

Well it was a long wait, 60 days since ovulation, but here they come. Clutch #2 will hit the incubator today. Pairing was 0.1 Vanilla X 1.0 Pied Ghost. Stay tuned for the final egg count.

Day 62 and I have pippers. I will post some pictures once they crawl out. Not expecting anything too exciting to look at though since it will just be double hets.

The first one to climb out is a Normal dhet Pied/Ghost. Nice strong markers.

They are finally out. Over 48 hours from the first pip until the last emerged. I have not sexed any of them yet as I will wait until they shed. All of these are double het for Ghost/Pied. Preliminary I have 5 Vanilla, 2 Normal, and 1 TBD. In the pics below, the two on the left are Normal, the five on the right are Vanilla, the one lower middle is the one in question. I'm leaning towards it being a Normal because the head isn't as blushed as the others. However, it seems brighter than the two on the left. I'll know better with a couple sheds. Thanks for looking.
