I know your vet said to feed her small meals and often. But don't be to surprised if she won't eat. Being quite sick, the meds and the daily stress of handling and soaking might make her refuse.
Did he say the daily bath was to treat the mice or the stuck shed ? Or both ?

Best wishes for a quick recovery. Kudos to you for giving her every chance.

    Shame on former owner.

Yea im glad i moved him hes one of my favorites haha.
He said she may refuse if she doesnt eat in a week from "last meal" to reduce bath time to a few times a week. But she's a champ i dont think she will have a problem. The bath is for both mites and the shed. He couldnt even see her corneas so she cant see much if any. I really hope she makes a full recovery she will be a fun girl to have. Bless her little heart for sticking it out.

NO idea my "you know what".

Oh gosh, and you paid for her..
Yes, take your money back. Although if I had to meet that person again, I'm not sure I could keep from kicking his "you know what". What a "you know what".

You're already a saint for doing what you can to save this poor snake. If you can see the piece of poop liar who sold you the snake and not assault him you're a much better person than I am. I hope with all my heart and soul that your new snake makes a full recovery, which I think is entirely possible under your care, and you two have many years together. HUGE props to you!!

And I hope the jackass who sold him to you gets the karma coming his way real soon!

I know terrible. But she sat there and it was like with every piece he removed she felt better she didnt try to get away or anything not once i fully believe animals know when theyre being helped and i think she knew the whole time it was a good thing.

He checked her said he doesnt feel anything but he also said she has really good muscle tone and can sometimes be harder to feel but with her health the way it is he doesnt believe she ever had any..which is great news cause i dont think she would have been able to handle all that.

Yea. Unfortunately it was a dumb mistake so to speak on my part but with all the sand on her i really couldnt see the amount of issues she had going on. Only a $100 but still and honestly i probably would have still took her if i knew everything. I have 3 reacues now all normals. One is a very small 2 yr old male reaper, the other is a 3 yr old female ww call her big mama wendy cause i met the person at wendys to get her 😉 and now this lovely little lady who i hope pulls through who is now named Shanti (little girl at the end of the jungle book)

Shanti just goes well with her.

I'm really rooting for her and you. We all are.
She HAS to make it now.

Please keep us up to date regularly :)

Aww thanks. Im a sucker for any animal i cant save them all but if i can help one you bet I'll try. Well in all honesty im just a little 25 yr old girl and he was a rather intimidating guy so i dont think i would try anything to begin with haha. The best part is my husband is working out of state and i have yet to tell him about this whole fiasco i got myself in. But he knows me so it shouldn't be a surprise.

I hope she does too. She has nice clean water bowl and new hides and a nice clean place to hang out and recover.

I love the name!! One of my ferrets is named Baloo after the bear in The Jungle Book because he's dark and almost looks like a bear cub, and he's a complete and utter goofball with a heart of gold.
