    that sounds good. i'd leave it there until the snake goes into shed. then you will want to raise it to 70-80%. you can achieve that with the humid hide or putting a wet towel over the screen top (just 2 of the many ways).

    EDIT: i use a glass tank like you do, and because of that you will find that the humdity does fluxuate. as long as it doesn't go below 45-50% or above 70% for an extended period of time--more than a day--then you should be fine. it is hard to keep things at perfect constant level with glass aquariums.

    well the humidity must of reallly loosened him up because he left me a b-day present this morning lol

    well that could have had something to do with it. sometimes after a soak they will leave you a little something, so i guess the humidity increase could have had the same effect. :)

    ok the temp is now 93.4 on the hoot side and 82.6 on the cool side and the humidity is 58%

    be careful that the temp on the hot side doesn't go over 94-95. the cool side and humidity are good.
