    Well yes.....that would be ideal. However, we are talking about chopping one up, not simply selecting a different size.

    I have cut rat limbs and it works great. No blood at all, just like chiken. I used the limbless rat for a ball and the limbs for a colubrid. On the other hand, rat innards smell is something you dont want to deal with.
