    Thank you for contributing your Dumerils! You are right - most definitely a boa.

    I do want to point out - just for those who may be viewing this thread to make identifications, that Dumerils do not fall under the species Boa constrictor. Their species is Boa dumerili. While, yes, they are in fact a Boa, they are found on a different continent from Boa constictor. Boa constrictor, and all sub-species are found in South American, Mexico, and the surrounding islands. Boa dumerili is found on the African island of Madagascar. ;)
