Still trying to decide if the 2013 female has more than just Pastel and Cinnamon in her. Here is a comparison shot with the 2012 female Pewter (front left), the 2013 male Pewter Mystic (front right), and the 2013 female Pewter Question (top middle).

I am leaning towards her being just a Mystic, but she looks so much cleaner than her half sister, the 2012 female Pewter, that I just keep wondering. What do you guys think? Is she just a Pewter? Or is there more to her?
I am also hoping that these two pairings will prove that my male is a Pewter Mystic

Thanks. I am really excited about this season. That 2013 male Pewter Mystic has been locking with 5 ladies, so there could be quite a few cool babies in our future. We also have some other exciting pairings that we will post when the eggs are laid in our other thread (http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-2015-Clutches).

Here is the first clutch sired by the 2013 male Pewter Mystic, the mother is a Pastel Congo. The countdown begins.

The 2013 male Pewter Mystic is indeed a Pewter Mystic! 2015 Clutch 2 has hatched and there is a Mystic Sterling and what is at least a Pastel Mystic in the clutch. It was pretty cool, because while the female Pastel Congo laid 6 eggs after multiple locks with the 2013 male Pewter Mystic, 3 of the eggs died during incubation. One of the remaining eggs had twins in it. we're just posting pictures of the whole clutch and the Mystic Sterling on this thread, but you can find more pictures of 2015 Clutch 2 in this thread http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-2015-Clutches
Here is 2015 Clutch 2

And here is a close up of the ones still in the eggs.

You can see the Mystic Sterling in the bottom right egg, and the one that is ate least a Pastel Mystic is in the middle egg.
And some shots of the Mystic Sterling, just look at the smeared/connected alien heads!

We're really excited that the 2013 male Pewter Mystic proved his Mystic gene on the first clutch he sired even though we lost half the eggs. Thanks for checking out this thread!

Here is a picture of the two snakes that got the Mystic gene, what we think is a Mystic Sterling and a Super Pastel Mystic:

Here is one of the Super Pastel Mystic by itself. Unfortunately it died last night. It had a large cartilage mass that caused the body cavity to rupture and we did what we could for the little one, however a couple of days later it died.

Thanks for checking out these guys.

Nice! That's unfortunate that you lost the one.

Here are some post shed pictures of the 2015 Clutch 2 female Mystic Sterling (I think she is a female, but she is so small that I was afraid of hurting her when I popped her, so I am going to let her grow and resex her later).

We paired 2013 Clutch 3 female Pewter Question with our 2012 male Pastel Calico. Some of the babies are obvious, others are not. I think this clutch shows that 2013 female Pewter Question has a Blue Eyed Leucistic gene in her. Since she looks different from 2013 Clutch 3 male Pewter Mystic, I think she has the Mojave gene. Both Justin Kobylka and Josh Jenson have been kind enough to give me input on these clutches and these are what I think they are. This clutch has a lot of questions because many of the genes involved can have quite a varied expression. Here is the whole clutch:
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...15-09-07_2.jpg
We don't have an individual picture of the Pastel from this clutch, but we do have individual pictures of the rest of the clutch.
This one is 2015 Clutch 14 male Pastel Calico. It is interesting how different Pastel Calicos can be even with the same Pastel Calico father (the female from 2015 Clutch 1 that we initially thought was a Pastel Mojave Calico, is probably an awesome Pastel Calico, thanks Josh for the help on that one).
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...15-09-19_4.jpg
This is one of the questions for us. Initially we thought this might be a Super Pastel Mojave, proving the mother to be a Pewter Mojave, but after exchanging emails with Justin Kobylka (http://www.jkobylkareptiles.com/), she may actually be a Super Pastel Calico. I just don't know, I keep going back and forth on her genetics. Time will certainly make this one clear (based on what we saw with our 2014 Clutch 9 female Super Pastel Calico, who started off with similar colors, but turned much more yellow as she aged).
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...15-09-19_7.jpg
Here is one of the other main questions. I initially thought she is a Sterling, but at the September 5th, Atlanta Dixie reptile show, another breeder (who had Sterling Surgars) on his table, thought she was a Sterling Calico. In looking at a lot of pictures of Pewter Mojaves, Pewter Mystics, Pewter Calicos, Sterling Mystics, and Sterling Calicos, along with the same Sugar combinations, I believe she might be a Pewter Calico or a Pewter Mojave Calico (her head just isn't blushed enough for me to think she is a Sterling Calico, and her pattern is to crazy for me to think she is a Pewter Mojave, so I am left with either a Pewter Calico, or a Pewter Mojave Calico, and the way the alien heads on her side are smeared together like her mother, I am wondering if she got the Blue Eyed Leucistic gene that her mother has, which I think is Mojave and not Mystic). I am just not sure what she is exactly, but I'm pretty sure we'll keep her and breed her to figure it out if it doesn't become clear as she ages.
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...15-09-19_7.jpg
And the crown jewel of this clutch, which I think is the evidence that the mother is carrying a Blue Eyed Leucistic gene, is what I think is a female Sterling Mojave Calico. Her pattern is just too crazy to be a Sterling Mojave or Sterling Calico (based on looking at the Sterling Calico, Mystic Sterling, and Sterling Sugar), so I think she is the five gene combination.
http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...15-09-19_2.jpg
Here is a picture of the grey snakes from this clutch and 2015 Clutch 2. The female Mystic Sterling from 2015 Clutch 2 is on the left, the Pewter Calico or Pewter Mojave Calico is in the middle, and the one I think is a Sterling Mojave Calico is on the right.
