Imo christmas is basically a materialistic hallmark holiday now. Im not saying there shouldnt be presents but i dont think there's any need for parents to be shoving the entire contents of a Toys R Us underneath the tree. Its stupid. When youre little its different but as i got older i really care much more about seeing family who i dont get to see often and eating good food. My grandparents are getting up there in age. Every time i get to see them could be the last so i try and make the most of it. And prime rib is just amazing so you gotta savor that too lol!

I got my mum a "BALL PYTHON HUGGER" bumper sticker for her car and she actually put it on! :D My brothers keep joking that someone's going to take a Sharpie to it and cross out "python" :rofl:

I'm with ya there buddy. I just like watching netflix with my brothers and sister and baking cookies with my grandma :P. I feel like I'm at the age where things I want are my responsibility to purchase. Not to say my family doesn't do a gift exchange, but it's pretty uneventful and we focus on sentimental or silly gifts. And alcohol ;)
