To be on my favorites, it has to be something that I can watch over and over and get enjoyment from. There are some movies that I think are really good but I can't stomach to watch repeatedly because they are so long. Most Batman movies come to mind.

    In no particular order:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
    Kung Pow
    The Beastmaster
    Conan the Destroyer
    Red Sonya
    All 3 LOTR movies
The original SW trilogy in the original format
    Star Trek 1, 2 and 4
    The Princess Bride
    The Matrix
Transformers the Move (the real one from 1986, not that CGI mess)
    The Last Starfighter
Highlander (the first on only; I pretend all the sequels never happened)
    The Avengers
    Feris Bueller's Day Off
    Flight of the Navigator

As a side note, I can't stand some of the "great movies."

For example "Gone with the Wind" bores me to tears. I have no idea why that keeps showing up as number 1.

There are too many to list, Grant and I are serious film lovers. Gotta say these are a few films I can never get sick of:

STAR WARS YES PLEASE AND THANKYOU
    Lord of the rings (all)
    Transformers (all)
    Pirates of the Caribbean (all)
    High Society
    Seven brides for seven brothers
    Titanic
    The ringer

These are just a few :) Anything with Johnny Depp, Jason Statham, Nicholas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Colin Farrell, and Scarlett Johannsons AWESOME BUM will do me JUST FINE.

For me my favorites are movies that I can watch over and over and get that same fuzzy feeling every time I watch them, so it's a short list.

The Cowboy and The Lady (1938)
Shall We Dance (1937-Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers)
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954)
    Father Goose (1964)
    Man From Snowy River (1982)
    Center Stage (2000)
Lord Of The Rings Trilogy (2001,2002,2003)
Chronicles Of Narnia-The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe (2005)/Prince Caspian (2008)
    Strictly Ballroom (1992)

Favorite animated film is The Lion King by far.

Favorite recent movie, The Avengers. It was epic.
