Can you get a picture of what's left? Honestly the best thing that you can do is make sure that the tank temperatures/humidity are correct that way next time he sheds (which shouldn't be too far off) things will go better.

Give him a good misting, leave him be for half an hour or so, and gently rub it off with a damp paper towel.

Feed him rat pups, get a good enclosure, UTH and water bowl. Provide the basic needs and necessity. :D
