Re: ear stretching takes so loooooong
This is awesome, I was under the impression that I was a rare breed owning snakes and having lots of ink/gauges. Why the hell can't I seem to find any females who enjoy the same activities where I live? lol
I was up to a 2g. Then I took them out and now I occasionally put in some basic 8g flesh tunnels.
Stretch SLOW. The slower the better I found. I always just used some non-scented, medical grade soap and took a hot shower. Then used the taper and went to the next size up. :snake:

I was stuck on a 2g for over 6 months, and just couldn't get that 2-0g taper to fit... I even tried taping, but found it to be a tricky & messy process. So I did a search for 1g plugs, thinking it might be easier than going a full 2mm - that site was the only place that had any, and the price was pretty reasonable. It totally worked, and I got them in with a little Vitamin E oil & a few minutes of (gently) pushing. Ears are a bit sore now, but they look great! I'll try to get pics later, and will share them here if you wanna see.
haha, thats where i go:gj:

Yeah, I was pretty impressed with their fast shipping! Especially considering I purchased them on a Friday or Saturday (can't remember which), and they arrived by like Tuesday... it was possibly even quicker, since I don't check the mail every day. ;)

Maybe you need to get out of Wisconsin... LOL. :P
Around here (Bay Area), the piercings and tattoos are very commonplace - for both males and females. Snakes aren't such a popular hobby, probably because there are restrictions in some cities... not to mention, we don't have too many native snakes/reptiles here. But they're also not really frowned upon, and most people think it's cool when I mention them. I have a few local girl-friends who collect snakes, and there's at least one large Herp Expo annually.
