Update. He is doing better. He shed and had problems but I managed to get it off for him. Need to try to feed him again. Has not eaten in a while

Just wondering, in reference to Shaun's poor little injured ball... If s/he hasn't had a meal since s/he got to Shaun's house, should we try to force feed him? He also looks kinda dehydrated. His water is changed daily and the tank cleaned, humidity and temps are correct too, just seems he won't drink or eat. No urates in there ever, just getting kinda worried.

well how long has it been since his last feeding? 2 weeks? if so then i wouldn't be too worried. even tho he may not look it hes stressed and because you have to keep his tank cleaned so much its probably stressing him out a bit more.

It's been a little over a month since he last ate. I know he's stressed. I would be too but we have to handle him to treat his wounds :(

    Poor little lamb.

I'm glad he's eating, and I hope he'll eventually be left with only a scar to remind you of his ordeal.

Is that area where there are no scales, is that tender to the ball?

I keep having bad dreams that some on keeps hurting one of my snakes. I just woke up from one where a girl accidentaly sliced my ball python in half then we tried to tape.... Yes tape it back together. like she worked in an animal clinic and she was cutting some paper with sicorses and slipped some how and cut my snake.

It seems to very tender. If we touch that spot even moving him, he jerks away very quickly. Some more good news though, he was out of his hide last night exploring around. He hasn't done that since he's been at Shaun's house so that's a good sign I guess. Hopefully that mouse gave him some energy and he can start healing more quickly :)
