Have you ever been called a "devil worshiper"?

I am a pastor and breed Ball Pythons. To be honest I do not tell many of my church members I have snakes really more so they do not think I am a "crazy snake handling preacher" like in the hills of Tenn. Just like every area of life their are christians that are stupid. But their are many that are smart and understand that snakes are animals.

Yeah, bad theology reeks. I'm an admin on a theology debate site. I have a thread with pics of my snakes up. Fortunately there are fewer nincompoops there, no one has equated my ball pythons with teh ebil 'un. But I'm waiting.......

Shame on all y'all. Don't you remember the good snakes in the Bible? Moses' staff was turned into a snake that ate the evil snakes. That is only one example. Snakes are God's creatures too.

wow that is awesome! love it. such an original spin on the Jesus tattoo everyone has. this is probably one of my favorite tats i've seen in a while.

My only comment is that there are people out there who LITERALLY believe that this planet is between 4,000 and 6,000 years old...based on chronology gleaned from the bible....*sigh*....
I am a scientist thru and thru...give me physical, testable proof and I'll believe.

They've been calling me a devil worshipper since long before I started keeping snakes. I'm pagan. :D (And NO, we don't even believe in this "devil" we're accused of worshipping by the ignorant ...)

I get really offended when people say and do stupid stuff like that...I'm a christian with a strong faith also and I feel that there are a lot of "religious" people out there that make us look nuts. yes, I believe in God. yes, I love snakes. My mom tells stories about always finding ones that I brought in the house as a kid. I personally believe they are a part of God's creation...and I find pretty much everything about nature fascinating. Ok, I'm done :)
