OK. Here's the trick...

1) Take a pic of your subject to put on the wall.
2) Print a copy to a transparency sheet.
3) Use an "old-school" overhead projector to beam the picture onto the wall.
4) Trace out the picture on the wall.
5) Paint.

Easy as can be! Now, go make your son happy! :)
