    im located in Newmarket, Ontario

Sadly, newmarket hasnt gotten much attention with any type of buisness for awhile

only in the past year or so it has become more populated, wont take long to get some breeders in here :) (well the store im buying from is a breeder, but you know what I mean PS: its called Northern Reptile, search them up. they arent big like petsmart :))

also, Ill check that website! thanks

almsot forgot to mention, having the animal shipped is extremely expensive, I looked into it. I was gonna buy one from a website (ball python world i think it was) to ship from the US was 40$ for the animal and 70 for the fast shipping, and because its shipping to Canada its extremely expensive to begin with

I dont think I have any other options lol

edit: a good way to compare US prices to Canadian:

Earlier in this thread I was advised to buy a 15$ accurite weather station, where i am located, it is 39.99 without tax. Lol

So you are only about an hour from Toronto? Surely there are some breeders there who would be willing to meet up with you?

Also, perhaps shipping within canada would be cheaper?

Im only turning 17 on june 19th, so no car for me :) Parents refuse to go to Toronto unless they need to go to a specialist appointment at Sick Kids. Also, they work 6 days a week doing hard labour (landscaping)

Shipping within Canada most likely would be cheaper, but at the same time the reptile will be nearly identical pricing unless shipped from BC. Then I would lose the amazing deal on the starter kit because I purchased elsewhere

Im kinda in a rough spot here, its extremely expensive to ship unless shipped from within Canada with may be extremely expensive still (epic taxes), and EVERYTHING is over priced lol

    esp where I live.

O well I plan to move to BC when I turn 20 so not to long away :)

I appreciate the ideas but I dont think theres anything I can do, ive exhuasted all my options, this wouldn't be an issue tho If I lived in Toronto or BC, or even Quebec..

EDIT: by the way, It may seem like im trying to be difficult. Im really not lol. im just sayin how bad my situation is atm for getting this snake, its gonna be expensive as heck no matter what I do

Sorry if i seem like im being difficult :(

There are several breeders in Ontario. Here are a few.

    Markus Jayne
    Northern Reptile
    Genisis Pythons

Shipping within the province should be fairly cheap.

There is also the reptile expo at the end of the month, in Missassauga.

Hey guys, im back with another question :)

Recently ive been reading around A LOT on the forums. and ive noticed a lot of people say something like "Ive started feeding f/t because I dont breed mice/rats/asf's"

Why is this? Can you not buy live mice/rat/asf feeders at the store and prekill them? (and yes, it would be humanely, im investing in a Co2 system)

You can but it is much easier to buy a pack of 20 frozen rodents and never bother with killing them all or housing them all.
