Not nearly enough attention has been paid to the following:
Motley Crue - shout at the devil. I mean, c'mon... Really?
Metallica - fade to black. Perhaps the best dark metal ballad in history. Just thinking about makes me want to off myself.
Iron maiden - number of the beast, powerslave, run to the hills, the trooper and rhyme of the ancient mariner. I could go on and on with maiden...
The entire appetite for destruction album (guns n roses) and the entire master of puppets album (metallic) (some mentions). I'd list the two appetite for destruction albums if they had made it into one superior album instead of two mediocre one's...
Why has there been no mention of white lion's "Wait" or Y&T's "Rock and roll's gonna' save the world"? Little more glam, sure but I admit I used to play them full blast in my room and while driving down the road... So did you!
