Seriously, though...I'll wear a BP.net shirt....but meeting up in a pre-arranged spot is a good idea. If it's crowded, it can be hard to find someone even if you know what to look for.

I remember from the show last August that the hallway right outside the showroom entrance was pretty empty. It would be very easy to congregate there in the hall, across from the showroom. Sound OK?

Well, I have an appt at my son's school at 1:30 Friday afternoon... :( ...so I won't be able to even leave town until about 2:00. If traffic isn't too bad, I should arrive in the D/FW area sometime between 6:00 and 7:00. Unless I stop off in Waco and pick Becky up..... ;) That might add some time to the trip.


I plan to hit the show as soon as it opens on Saturday. 10am??? or 9am? And hang out until and through our luncheon. From there, we'll see how things go. Saturday evening and Sunday will be spent with family, though. They'd KILL me if I drove all the way up there and didn't spend some time with them.

I'll pitch in on gas if you want me to, no biggie. My car just hates being a car and doing the whole driving thing. You're always welcome to just stop by here and see the snakies and other furry children, and I can just follow you up there. Either way! I need to pick up a friend in Ft Worth on the way though.

I think Sarah and I were planning on splitting the cost of a hotel room, so if you wanted to room with us, that'd be fine I'm sure.

This show is going to be horrible... I have an actual SHOPPING LIST... *gasp* :eek:

I actually live in Arlington about 25 minutes from the convention center so anyone that needs and info about the local area just ask!

I am considering springing the 100 bucks for a VIP pass to do some interviewing and get into the networking event on Friday but probally won't. That could be invested into more caging and well more animals plus my buddy Howell wants to drink beer on Friday night.

In any event I pretty much look like my picture so anyone who happens to see me don't hesitate to say hello. Looking forward to meeting many of you!

I am also in for going to lunch with ya'll too. Good thing you planned it AFTER Don Sonderbergs cornsnake presentation. Don is a great guy if you haven't met him stop by his booth at South Mountain Reptiles and say hello. Don is one of the nicest and most informative breeders I have ever met and he also sold me my giant freak of nature amel corn snake,

Feel free to suggest a decent restaurant that's not too far from the convention center. I lived in Arlington for about a year...but that was almost 20 years ago! LOL
