Actually I did not ask people told me. I had believed I got a yellow blush het albino, until people started telling me i only had a het albino. I also saw your post about saying something about a job. I do have a job. And I asked him about a loan before I was mad at him and started bashing him.

i completely agree but let's all relax here a little please. andre is just a kid and he's made two mistakes... hopefully even with being allowed to keep the snake (which i disagree with as he's getting a 'prize' for not doing his homework before he bought the snake) he'll learn a lesson from all of this.

let's face it folks... wes posted that so that everyone would start bashing andre... let's not give wes what he wants.

There is something to be said for telling it like it is. Andre has gone from having a couple snakes a few months ago to setting up a website and planning to sell snakes. If I were him, I would take the things he is being told as life lessons. It can only help him in the future. You don't ask random people to lend you money.

But the way Joe and I talked on the phone and stuff I considered us friends. Now I dont anymore.

listen i have nothing against you andre. i do have something against what you did. we have all asked people to do something for us at one point of our life. what you did weather you realize it or not was wrong. and now you know. we all make mistakes. i have made them so has everyone else on here. there has only been one perfect person in history.

it relly hurts your story about how big bad mkr screwed you when just the week before you asked them for a 2000 dollor loan. so now we dont know if you are mad at them for the snake or if you are holding a grudge against them for not giving you the loan.

you then go on to hurt your story more by admiting that you did no reasearch on the morph before you bought it.
all we can do is live and learn at this point. and thank god that mkr hooked you up at the end. as i have said before most would no have done the same.

MKRs sold something to a minor......then THEY are responsible for ALL consequences that proceeded from the transaction.

THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE.

Inquiries about loans, claims against them and their animal's genetics, refunds and the other garbage.....are ALL the result of them selling to a minor without contacting the parents.

Everyone should read this thread and see what is the result of selling reptiles directly to minors.

Andre, I think it was in bad taste for you to ask for a loan, it wasn't very professional at all.
Secondly, you're wanting to start a reptile business but you didn't even take the time to research before you purchased something, that was incredibly foolish.

Asking for a loan, getting refused, and THEN making a post on these forums saying that you don't think there is such a thing as the yellow blush/you got ripped up makes it look very suspicious.

ESPECIALLY when you had the same people, telling you the same thing about this deal months and months and months ago. Just very convenient.

I say we just close this thread up. MKR gave him his money back, and a free snake. In this case MKR made a mistake by selling to a minor (or did they talk to the mother first?) and made good on their mistake, and then some...

I believe the Mom did know the transaction was taking place...

Anywho...I think the right thing to do, if you are unhappy with the transaction, would be to ship the snake back and get your refund. Keeping the snake and getting a refund makes you look like a charity case. It also gives MKR the opportunity to show everyone that they do whatever they can to make their customers happy. You, Andre, are just another satisfied MKR customer. If you're truly unhappy with the whole deal, send the snake back, get your refund, and be done with it...

BUT why does that even matter?

You are not 18 years old.....you can not legally enter a contract like a loan. Your parents must do so for you until you are 18. It is that simple.

Maybe you were just uneducated about it...but if I remember correctly, you had tried to purchase something before without going through your parents, correct?.....hopefully, the point is finally made clear this time...

I think it is sad that Wes has to bring something like that up to try to defend himself against a minor...and it is sad that some people are trying to make you look like a bad guy in this to try to save some face for MKRs...I really don't care for the 'blame the kid' way of thinking.

I know this question was posed to one person but my answer would be yes, you were wrong. First off, loans are just another form of contract which you cannot enter on your own. Try going to the bank and signing up for a loan and see what they say.

Everytime i read one of these post about MKR and read Wes's answers I think...Marketing 101...thats all i'm saying.

Edit: Didn't see that Daniel mentioned loans being a contract, so my point would be that MKR does a "good deed" and people start talking about satisfied customers...I say where was Wes to answer all the important well worded questions in prior threads....NO WHERE.

You mentioned that you were thinking about buying a pair of "yellow blush het for albino" ball pythons.My first reply was Andre are you talking about ball pythons het for high contrast albino?
